Firecrackers & Keys

Last night Williston held it’s annual Independence day celebration. I was extremely excited because this is the first time that Hoyt will be seeing fireworks. I was also a little nervous that he might not like them, and I would be heartbroker. The afternoon started with the parade in town. I went to the parade with my parents, while Jared and Hoyt took their afternoon naps J
Layne and I waiting for the parade to start.

Once I got home we headed to a friend house. Hoyt had a great time playing with the BIG kids. The girls tried so hard to get him to go down the water slide, but it wasn’t going to happen. He did enjoy the trampoline though. As  it started to get darker we took the ranger to the end of the road and waited anxiously for the show to begin. Hoyt was in awe for the first 10 minutes. He soon realized that Roy Alan had keys on his wrist and completely forgot about the light display in the sky. What can you do he is only 18 months. We had a great night and look forward to Hoyt’s many more firsts!
